These little bananas are some of my favorite type of bananas. I never realized that that there were hundreds of types of bananas, but we only ever see one or two in the grocery store.
Same goes for apples. There are thousands of types of apples out there, but we only ever see a handful in the grocery store due to mass production efficiency.
It’s amazing what you find in the fruit and veggie world when you dig a little deeper and you see just how big the variety of species and within species are.
