We have so much cacao growing around our property and in the vicinity we don’t know what to do with. The most interesting thing about cacao is that the nuts are covered in a sweet juicy fruit. There are many color variations and types of cacao.
You can eat the nut plain with all of its nutrients. Cacao in its pure form is a super food loaded with all kinds of nutrients and vitamins essential for the body. From there we have neighbors and friends who know how to turn the nut into chocolate.
The process requires drying the nut in the sun for four days and then a few steps after that before turning it into all the different forms of chocolate we know and love.
